Cube Connect App and Web Tenant Portal Launch in Malaysia
Edward Baden Group is pleased to announce the official launch of the Cube Connect App and Web Tenant Portal in Malaysia, marking another important step in Cube Self Storage’s digital transformation.
Following a soft launch in May 2026, the platform officially launched on 1 July 2026. It is now available to tenants at both Cube Self Storage Petaling Jaya and Cube Self Storage Glenmarie.
Available through a web browser and as a mobile app for both iOS and Android, Cube Connect gives tenants a simpler and more convenient way to manage their storage accounts wherever they are.
A more convenient self-service experience
Cube Connect brings essential account information and services together in one accessible platform. Instead of contacting the Cube team for routine account requests, tenants can view and manage important details directly through the app or Web Tenant Portal.
Through Cube Connect, tenants can:
Make payments securely online
View outstanding balances, invoices and receipts
Review storage-unit and rental-agreement details
Manage payment methods and automatic payments
Update their personal and contact information
Contact the Cube team or request support
Manage facility access through the app
By providing access to these services at any time, Cube Connect gives tenants greater visibility and control over their accounts while making day-to-day storage management more convenient.
Making payments simpler
Payment convenience is an important part of the Cube Connect experience. Tenants can review their account balances and make payments through the platform without needing to visit the facility or wait for assistance during office hours.
Access to invoices, receipts and payment information also gives tenants a clearer overview of their accounts. Automatic payment options can help them manage upcoming charges more easily and reduce the risk of missed or late payments.
At this early stage, one of the platform’s main operational objectives is to reduce manual payment follow-up and related administrative work. As more tenants adopt Cube Connect, the platform is expected to help streamline account management and allow facility teams to spend more time supporting customers with enquiries that require personal assistance.
Connecting the tenant journey
The launch of Cube Connect builds on Cube’s broader investment in creating a more connected digital experience.
While Cube’s View Prices Online platform supports prospective customers during their initial storage search, Cube Connect continues the digital journey after move-in. Together, these platforms make it easier for customers to research storage options, review pricing and promotions, save quotations, and subsequently manage their accounts as Cube tenants.
This approach reflects the Group’s commitment to combining convenient self-service technology with responsive support from its local teams.
Building on the UK soft launch
The Malaysia launch follows an earlier soft launch of the Cube Connect App in the United Kingdom approximately six months before the Malaysian soft launch.
Experience gained during the initial UK rollout helped Cube prepare for the introduction of the platform across its two Malaysian facilities. The official Malaysia launch represents the next stage in developing a more consistent digital tenant experience across the Group’s international self-storage operations.
Cube is also preparing to introduce the platform in Hong Kong, further extending the benefits of convenient digital account management to tenants across Asia.
Advancing Cube’s digital strategy
The Cube Connect App and Web Tenant Portal form an important part of Edward Baden Group’s wider digital strategy.
By giving tenants direct access to payments, documents, account information and support services, Cube is creating a more transparent and convenient experience while improving the efficiency of its internal processes.
The platform will continue to evolve as Cube reviews tenant feedback, monitors adoption and identifies further opportunities to improve the customer journey.
The Group looks forward to supporting more tenants through Cube Connect as the platform expands across its international markets.
