Cube Expands Its Online Pricing Experience Across Hong Kong and Malaysia
Edward Baden Group is pleased to announce the expansion of Cube Self Storage’s online pricing platform across Asia, with the service launching in Hong Kong during the first quarter of 2026 and Malaysia during the second quarter of 2026.
Following its successful introduction in the United Kingdom in 2025, the rollout represents another important step in the Group’s digital transformation strategy. Customers across all Cube Self Storage facilities in Hong Kong and Malaysia can now explore available storage options, view current prices and promotions, and save a personalised quotation online.
Making storage pricing more accessible
Customers often research self-storage outside normal operating hours, particularly in the evening or when planning an upcoming move, renovation or business requirement. Previously, someone submitting an enquiry overnight might have needed to wait until the following business day to receive pricing information.
The new online pricing experience addresses this gap by giving customers immediate access to transparent prices, promotions and unit availability at any time.
Customers can select their preferred facility, storage-unit size and rental duration before reviewing the applicable price and promotional offer. This allows them to compare suitable options and make a more informed decision without waiting for assistance from the sales team.
The platform is available across all Cube Self Storage facilities in Hong Kong and Malaysia, making the customer experience more consistent and convenient throughout both markets.
A more flexible customer journey
The platform supports customers at different stages of their storage search. Once customers have found a suitable option, they can save their online quote for future reference or submit an enquiry to the Cube team.
Customers who need a different unit size or rental period, or who would like to discuss their requirements further, can also request a personalised quotation. This combination of instant online information and direct sales support gives customers greater flexibility while ensuring that more complex storage requirements continue to receive individual attention.
Online booking and payment will be introduced in a future phase, further extending the digital journey from initial research through to storage-unit reservation.
Connecting RapidStor with Cube CRM
Cube’s online pricing platform is powered by RapidStor, a Storable product designed specifically for the self-storage industry. Throughout the implementation and regional rollout, Storable’s knowledgeable and responsive support team has worked closely with Cube, providing valuable guidance and practical assistance. Their continued support has played an important role in helping us successfully introduce the platform across multiple markets and adapt it to our operational requirements.
RapidStor is connected to Cube CRM, which was developed internally by the Cube MarTech team. This integration enables online customer activity and quotation information to flow into Cube’s sales pipeline, giving sales teams better visibility of each enquiry and supporting more structured follow-up.
By bringing the online customer journey and internal sales processes together, Cube can monitor enquiries more effectively, improve follow-up progress and increase team efficiency. It also helps reduce the number of potential customers lost outside operating hours by allowing them to receive useful pricing information immediately while their interest is at its highest.
Supporting stronger lead and conversion performance
Since its introduction, the online pricing function has contributed to a significant improvement in both lead generation and conversion performance.
Transparent, instant access to prices and promotions removes an important barrier from the early stages of the customer journey. Instead of leaving the website while waiting for a response, customers can immediately assess whether a storage option suits their needs and budget.
At the same time, saved quotations and online enquiries provide Cube’s sales teams with better context when following up with prospective customers. This creates a smoother transition from online research to direct consultation and helps the team focus its attention on customers who may need additional guidance.
Advancing the Group’s digital strategy
The expansion from the United Kingdom into Hong Kong and Malaysia demonstrates Edward Baden Group’s commitment to using technology to create simpler, faster and more transparent customer experiences.
It also reflects the Group’s ability to combine established industry technology with internally developed systems tailored to Cube’s operational and sales requirements.
With online booking and payment planned as the next stage of development, Cube will continue enhancing its digital platform and creating a more connected customer journey across its international self-storage operations.
